To book the hall contact Janet Nettleton at St.Lawrence Post Office 852260.

Our village-hall is 110 years old, built originally as a school. A successful application to the Millenium Lottery Fund meant that a grant was made available for restoration to take place in line with current health and safety regulations.

The Griffiths-Holbrook annexe, opening to the rear garden, was added for meetings for up to 15 people. A well-appointed kitchen can cater for 50 people with a total seating for 80. There is a stage with good access, modern lighting and sound systems. So the hall is an excellent venue for classes, meetings, receptions, exhibitions, functions, parties, dances, concerts etc.

A newly installed eco-friendly heating system keeps the whole building comfortably warm.  The hiring fees are reasonable in line with other facilities in the area, to book the hall contact Janet Nettleton at St.Lawrence Post Office 852260.

7/10/09 - Village Hall News

It was announced by the Chairman at a Management Committee meeting that Alan Stovell of Pine Gap,Old Park Road,St.Lawrence has agreed to take over the position of Treasurer of the village-hall from Terry Ward who will be resigning in December 2009. Decorating of toilets and lobbies and repainting the railings has been carried out with an award from the Hallmark Scheme which requires the hall be maintained at a certain standard.
The necessary quotations have been received for the repair of the bell-tower and it is hoped that some funding will be available.
